Policy

Editorial Policy

The standards every Hen & Mills story is held to.

Sourcing & attribution

We report facts, which are not anyone’s property, in our own words. We never republish another outlet’s writing. Where we quote a person or publication, the quote is short, attributed by name, and the source is linked at the foot of the article.

Accuracy

Every claim in an article — prices, reference numbers, case dimensions, movements, dates — is checked against its cited sources before publication. Where a detail has not been confirmed, we say so rather than filling the gap. Every article is reviewed by a human editor before it goes live.

Fact and opinion

Sourced facts are reported as fact. Judgement is labelled as ours. We don’t assert motive or wrongdoing, and we don’t publish unverified claims about a named person or company.

Corrections

We aim to get it right. When we don’t, we fix it promptly and transparently — see our Corrections policy.

Independence

Editorial coverage is independent of any commercial relationship. Any affiliate or sponsored content is clearly labelled and never influences what we cover or what we conclude.
